The young people’s collective at the Crafts Council (the Young Crafts Citizens) want to hear from young people across the country as part of a project to share and advocate for young people’s creativity.
The aim of the project is to gather a wide range of views from a large scope of young people aged 16-30 about how young people are creative, what issues we care about, and what creativity and making means to us.
We’re looking for as broad a range of young people as possible – from those who occasionally dabble in crafts, to those who have a burning desire for a creative career.
The benefits of taking part include being profiled by the Crafts Council who are a national arts charity. Your views and creative work will be shared with a vast network of creatives, organisations and other change-makers. The final publication will be shared widely to advocate for the needs of young creatives nationwide.
The commitment required will be a one-hour zoom interview between 19th-30th October led by myself, a Young Crafts Citizen who is currently doing a placement at Crafts Council.
If you are interested in taking part please email Rosie.
