Preparations are underway for a new art exhibition opening at Hive later this month.
From 19 August to 6 October 2021, Hive Arts is hosting an open exhibition called Seaside Stories which will showcase the amazingly diverse talents of Blackpool-based artists.
This exhibition is open to any artists based in the FY area, so even if you are not part of the Hive
Arts collective, you are still very welcome to submit a piece for display.
If you would like to be part of the exhibition:
- The theme is “Seaside”
- Your work must be ready to hang on the wall and be labelled with your name, the title and the price or marked Not For Sale.
- Your work can be any medium, although they currently cannot accept sculptures, free standing artwork or work over A2 size (including frame).
- Hand in dates: 10am – 4pm Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 August at Hive
The exhibition will open with a lunchtime coffee reception on Thursday 19 August at 12pm.
