This Thursday sees Karima Francis and friends performing at the new Beach House on Queens Promenade, Blackpool. The Beach House, for those of you who don’t know, is a new bistro and cocktail bar situated just opposite Burger King and although all tables are now fully booked up, seating and a variety of menus will still be available at the bar – plus, cocktails come with complimentary bar nibbles.

Karima will be playing with her new band featuring Matt Gallagher and Matt McNicholas, from the Victorian Dad band, plus Norm Helm and Bradley Harper.

Speaking about the gig and her new band Karima said:

I’ll be playing like never before, performing with a full band of my own, and not session musicians. The evening consists of some extraordinary up and coming Blackpool based songwriters and I’m really looking forwards to this so, so much, so please come and join us on Thursday!

Kicking off the gig from 6.30pm will be Katy Pickles, followed by Mark Thomas, Jess Harwood, Mike Dignam until 9.30pm when Karima and her band will be taking to the stage for their set. After the live bands are done and for those wanting to stay out a little later there will be a DJ set.

Speaking about the line up and the venue Karima said:

This is going to be one of the most beautiful evenings of new music I think Blackpool has ever had, with this perfect venue being directly on the seafront with the stage backdrop made of floor to ceiling windows looking out towards the sea at sunset, Central pier and of course the Blackpool tower, which will all be lit up especially for this event.

Entry is just £5 on the door for this fantastic night of live music, not to be missed.
