In the coming weeks, Blackpool Library Service is gratefully welcoming two fantastic crime authors to its libraries. Local authors, Sally Spedding and Nick Oldham, will be visiting to discuss their latest novels in two unmissable free events.
Sally Spedding
Spedding is the master of creating the perfect combination of horror and suspense. Her gothic noir novels create storylines that are utterly compelling and absorbing, keeping you hooked until the very end. Her latest books, Cold Remains and Malediction, are already firm favourites on our shelves.

Nick Oldham
Police officer turned crime writer, Nick Oldham, is coming to Blackpool Central Library to discuss the nineteenth book in the popular Henry Christie series. Bad Tidings catapults Christie into a sordid battle between two prominent and unpredictable crime families. Written with daunting realism, Oldham throws you into the depths of uncertainty in life as a police officer.
