Grand Tweeters

Tired of tweeting about your breakfast cereal? The Grand Theatre wants you!

Become a ‘Grand Tweeter’. The theatre in the heart of Blackpool is giving you the opportunity to let your creative twitter juices flow during two specially dedicated performances of their two summer shows: Step Back in Time and Ooh La La.

This new initiative from the Grand encourages up-to-date and first hand reactions to their new summer line up. During the opening performances of both shows, the back row of the stalls will be held back especially for the Grand Tweeters. Every successful applicant will be given a free ticket to the show and will be asked to tweet during the performance. Step Back in Time opens on 23 July and Ooh La La opens 1 August.

It is really easy to apply if you want to become a Grand Tweeter. All you have to do is write an inventive tweet promoting either Step Back in Time or Ooh La La; in one hundred and forty character or less, of course. End your tweet with #BPLGrand and you could be in with a chance to become a Grand Tweeter. Andrew Howard, Marketing Manager at the Grand Theatre, said this about the initiative:

This is a great way for people to hear first hand how exhilarating these international productions are.

Both of the afore-mentioned shows promise to be great nights out, even for these who do not hold the illustrious title of Grand Tweeter. If you are feeling particularly sociable and curious then why not follow the Grand Theatre on Twitter or on Facebook?  As for me, I’ve got a fascinating bowl of cornflakes to tweet about.
