FREE Summer Activities Courtesy of Aunty Social

Do you have a house full of bored children? Young people complaining that there’s nothing to do with their free time over the summer holidays? Need to keep to a budget? Then have no fear, Aunty Social are offering a range of FREE activities to keep your little monsters occupied over the summer months.

Throughout July and August, Aunty Social will be providing a range of arts activities and entertainment for young people and families. At The Oracle young people’s centre on St. Anne’s Road, they will be showing 8 family favourite films courtesy of Aunty’s ‘Pop-up Picturehouse’. On Friday mornings throughout August also at The Oracle, they will be hosting ‘Craftcore’ – a series of art and craft workshops for young people aged 13-19. On Wednesday afternoons throughout August at Palatine Library, they will be hosting creative ‘Crafternoons’ for children aged 12 and under and their parents.craftcore

7th August – Bead workshop
14th August – Pom-bombing
21st August – Superhero art workshop

Craftcore

For young people aged 13 – 19 years.
Fridays 10am – 12pm throughout August at the Oracle (49 St. Annes Road, Blackpool, FY4 2AR).

9th August – Bead workshops (jewellery and Hama beads)
16th August – Yarnbombing workshop
23rd August – Stencilling/t-shirt workshop
30th August – 3D Art workshop

Pop-up Picturehouse: Free family film screenings

A selection of your favourite films old and new.

Showings start at 6pm at the Oracle (49 St. Annes Road, Blackpool, FY4 2AR).
